Another great aspect in town is its relatively forgiving terrain that allows for pedestrians to stroll from one shop to another without having to strain themselves while going up any hills. However, in case you don’t feel like walking, there are various levels of taxi services in town, from the professional “tourismo” vans to the small “San Jorge” taxi service. If you are looking to take a long ride outside of town, you will need an official taxi or a “tourismo” bus. Generally speaking, the illegal taxis will not be able to take you long distances due restrictions in Costa Rica. Visit sandiegodowntown.
