The area around Best Western Vista Villas provides access to some of Costa Rica’s most beautiful beaches, with Playa Tamarindo as the standout option. The hotel offers a fantastic view of this popular beach, and it’s only a short walk away, so you can have your feet in the golden sand in no time. Playa Tamarindo is famous for its long stretch of golden sandy beaches, surrounded by lush green hills and the clear, turquoise waters of the Pacific Ocean, making it a favourite spot for sun lovers and surfers.

This stunning beach offers various activities. If you prefer to relax and enjoy the scenery, Playa Tamarindo is perfect for that. Upon arrival at your Villa or Room

Upon arrival of your room, please do not hesitate to let us know immediately of any unconformities that our maintenance or housekeeping departments might have overlooked. Please be sure to request your roll-away bed before 5:00 pm.

During Your Stay

Registered guests are responsible for all furnishings and inventory in their villa/room. Any lost or damaged items will be leveraged with the room’s safety deposit.

Feminine hygiene products, disposable diapers, or other foreign objects should not be placed in the toilet.

When returning from the beach, please remember to rinse your beach toys and feet before upon return.

Make sure to lock all the doors to your room when you leave.

Remember to keep all valuables in the in-room safe (see following section for operation instructions).

Please do not leave food and drinks out in the open, as they will attract ants and other insects.

Please do not remove any of the furnishing or utensils from your room.

 

Departure from your Villa / Room

Our checkout time is 12:00 noon, but prior to departure, we ask that you please remember to check all drawers for your personal effects, lock all the doors and windows, and return all the key cards to the front desk. If leaving before 6:00am, please remember to check out with the front desk the night prior to your departure.

Reception hours

The reception is open 24 hours a day. In case of an afterhours question, need, or emergency, please contact security. During business hours the extension “0” rings to the reception, after hours the extension “0” rings to security.

Parking

Parking is available 24 hours a day either on our parking lot directly when you have entered through the main entrance or when you drive up the hill to the second-level parking lot.

Pool Hours

The pool is open from 8 am to 10 pm. Please respect the rights of our other guests when using the pool.  Pool towels are available in Reception.

Llegada a su Villa o Habitación

Cuando entre a su villa o habitación, favor no dudes en informarnos cualquier inconformidad que  nuestro departamentos de mantenimiento o ama de llaves talvez omitieron durante sus revisiones. También, si deseas una cama adicional, solicítalo antes de las 5:00pm.

Durante Su Estadía

Cada huésped es responsable por todos los muebles e inventario en su villa/habitación. Cualquier daño o pérdida serán cargados o cobrados al depósito que solicitamos cuando hizo ingreso al hotel

Favor no poner ningún producto dentro de los inodoros (papel higiénico, toallas sanitarias, pañales, etc.)

Al regresar de la playa, por favor recuerde limpiar todos sus artículos y sus pies. La arena puede dañar la piscina.

Asegúrese de haber cerrado todas las puertas de su habitación con llave antes de salir.

Mantenga siempre sus artículos de valor en la caja de seguridad. (más adelante encontrará las instrucciones de uso)

Evite dejar comida tirada en la habitación, ya que podría atraer hormigas u otros insectos.

Por favor no lleve muebles ni utensilios de la cocina fuera del hotel.

Salida de su Villa / Habitación

La hora de salida del hotel es a las12:00 medio día, pero antes de su salida, por favor, revise todos los muebles y gavetas, para evitar artículos olvidados, por favor cierre todas las puertas y las ventanas, y devuelva todas las llaves a la recepción. Si planea dejar el hotel antes de la 6:00am, por favor cancele su cuenta la noche anterior a su salida.

Horas de la oficina

La recepción abre 24 horas por dia. En caso de pregunta, necesidad, o emergencias, fuera de horario, por favor contacta con seguridad. Durante horas de oficina,(6 am a 10 pm) la extensión “0” timbra a recepción, después de las 10pm lo comunicará con seguridad.

Parqueo

El parqueo está disponible las 24 del día en cualquiera de las dos áreas que tenemos, el de la entrada principal y el del segundo nivel, en la colina.

Horas de piscina

La piscina está abierta entre las 8am y las 10pm. Por favor, respeta los derechos de todos nuestros huéspedes mientras use la piscina. Toallas de piscina disponibles en Recepción.

Bar and restaurant

The Crazy Monkey Bar and Restaurant is located next to the pool. The bar is open from 12:00 am to 10:00 pm on weekdays and 12:00 am to 10:00 pm on weekends. Our restaurant is currently closed, but the bar has printed many take-out menus of restaurants in the area that will be delivered to the pool and restaurant area. 

Breakfast

All registered guests are entitled to our free continental breakfast. Breakfast is available from 7:00 am to 10:50 am every day in the restaurant. We offer free room service, from 6:00 am to 10:50 am, please make a previous reservation at the front office the day before.

Express breakfast

We offer express breakfast every day from 6 am to 10.50 am, please let our reception know the night before in case you need it.

Towels

Bath towels are provided for each villa/room. If a towel remains hung in a room we adopt the policy that you plan on using the towel again. A towel on the floor means, “Please Replace”. Additionally, these towels are not for pool or beach use. If you need a pool or beach towel, they are available for use at the reception. 

Laundry Services

Laundry service is available. Laundry bags are located in reception. Place your dirty clothing in the bag, give the bag to your maid and your clean clothing will be ready by 12:00 noon the following day or within 24 hours. The cost is $20 per load. Unfortunately, we are unable to wash shoes or clothes marked “Hand-Wash Only” or “Dry Clean Only”.

Free Ice Cubes

Each guest has an ice bucket in their room, allowing them to get free ice cubes from the bar.

Face cloths

Face cloths are available free of charge; please phone reception (ext. ‘’0’’) and they will be brought to your room.

Electrical fans

Electrical fans are present in every room. To turn them on simply flip the switch which is located on the wall.

Coffee makers

All rooms have coffee makers with coffee kits. If you need additional coffee kits  please contact the front desk (ext. “0), with out additional charge.

Bar y restaurante

El Bar y Restaurante Crazy Monkey está ubicado al lado de la piscina. El bar abre entre las 11:00am y las 10:00pm cada dia de la semana y abre entre las 12:00md y las 10:00pm durante fines de semana. Por el momento, el restaurante se mantiene cerrado despues del servicio de desayuno, sin embargo el bar tiene varios menus con servicio express que puede entregar comida directamente al patio del piscina.

Desayuno

Todos nuestros huéspedes tienen el derecho al desayuno continental. El desayuno será servido entre las 7:am a 10:50am en el area de restaurante,tambien lo ofrecemos  ala habiatcion se debe hacer en recepcion una reserva previa, se sirve  de 6:00am a 10:50am .

Desayuno Express

Ofrecemos desayuno exprés todos los días de 6am a 10:50 am. Por favor comuníquelo a nuestros recepcionistas la noche anterior en caso de que usted necesite el servicio exprés.

Paños

Hay paños de baño para cada habitación/villa Si colocas tu  paño guindado en tu habitación, nosotros asumimos que planeas  usarlo otra vez. Si lo dejas en el piso, significa “por favor repóngalo.” Además, los paños blancos no son para el uso en la playa o piscina. Si necesitan toallas para playa, ó piscina, éstos están disponibles en Recepción.

Servicios de lavandería

Ofrecemos servicio de lavandería todos los días. Pide una bolsa de recepcion, y coloque su ropa sucia en la bolsa. Su ropa va a estar lista antes de las 12:00mm del día siguiente (24 horas). El costo es $20 por bolsa. Desafortunadamente, no lavamos zapatos o ropa marcada como: “Lavar a Mano” ó “Lavar en Seco”.

Maquina de hielo

En las habiatciones tenemos una hielera la cual puede llevar al estaurante y solicitar hielo cada vez que lo necesite. Recordar que despues de las 10:00pm el bar estara cerrado.

Toallas para el rostro

Tenemos toallas para el rostro disponibles sin costo adicional, si necesitas   solo llama a Recepción (“0”) y la mucama la llevara a tu habitación.

Ventiladores eléctricos

Hay ventiladores en cada habitación. En la pared se encuentra ubicado el interruptor para encenderlos o apagarlos.

Coffee makers

Todas las habitaciones tienen coffee makers con paquetes de café. Si necesita paquetes adicionales, por favor llame a la recepción del hotel.(ext. “0) Sin costo adicional.

Fax, print, and photocopy services

Fax and photocopy services are available when contacting reception between 6:00am  and 10:00pm. Copy and print services are available at the front desk from 6:00am  to 10:00pm. 

Luggage storage

Luggage storage is available during the hours of 6:00am to 10:00pm. Please call the front desk (ext. “0”) for more assistance.

Wake up calls

We also offer wake up calls. If you would like to set up a wake up call, please call reception (ext. “0”) between the hours of 6:00am and 10:00pm.

General security

Although the hotel does have a security system and security personnel on staff, we always urge our guests to aware, and, we offer these safety pointers:

• Do not leave any valuables unattended or in plain sight when in public areas.
• Do not leave the doors to your room or to your patio open if you are not in the room.
• Do not leave any belongings unattended on your patio.
• Please remember to use your safe for any valuables that you plan on leaving in the hotel room. To operate the safe, enter a 4 digit number, followed by the “#/lock” key. To open the safe, enter the same 4 digit number. Be careful, three failed attempts to open the safe will block all use for 30 minutes.
• Be especially aware of your personal belongings when enjoying the beach, it is a highly trafficked area and has caused many pairs of sandals to disappear.
• Never give your room number away to strangers.
• Immediately report lost or stolen key cards.
• There are many options for activities in Tamarindo, our Reception will be pleased to assist you in choosing and booking a tour with one of our recommended partners. Please Note: you are welcome to manage your own tours however BW Tamarindo Vista Villas cannot take responsibility for any tour you book outside of the hotel. For your safety we also recommended that you only book tours from reputable institutions.

Emergency information

The hotel has an on-call doctor. Should you need medical assistance, contact the front desk (ext. “0”). If you call after hours, your call will be attented by security personnel.

For an immediate emergency (fire, medical, burnings, injuries or personal security), please dial “9+911” for outside help.

For more emergency information, please refer to the information posted on the back of your room’s door.

Every room is adjacent to an exterior hallway, so, in case of an emergency evacuation, please proceed to the exterior hallway and then follow staff instructions pertaining to further evacuation procedures.

Aunque el hotel tiene un sistema de seguridad y guardas, siempre sugerimos a nuestros huéspedes que se mantengan vigilantes y que sigan los siguientes consejos:

• No dejen las puertas de su habitación abiertas mientras no estén en su cuarto.
• Por favor recuerden usar su caja de seguridad para cualquier cosa de valor. Para usar su caja de seguridad, ingrese un número de 4 dígitos, seguido con la tecla “#/lock”. Para abrir la caja, ingrese el mismo número de 4 dígitos. Preste atención, porque tres pruebas fallidas van a bloquear la caja por 30 minutos. Si necesita ayuda por favor comuníquese con recepción.
• Sea cuidadoso mientras está disfrutando la playa. Es un área frecuentada y eso ocasiona que muchos pares de sandalias desaparezcan.
• Nunca dé su número de habitación a gente desconocida.
• Reporte llaves robadas o perdidas inmediatamente a la recepción.
• Existen muchas actividades que llevar a cabo en Tamarindo y nuestra Recepción está más que dispuesto a ayudarlo reservando sus tours con alguno de nuestros operadores. También puede decidir reservar usted mismo, pero en ese caso sugerimos que sea mediante instituciones de buena reputación , ya que nuestro hotel no se hará responsable por cualquier inconveniente que se presente.

Información de emergencia

El hotel tiene un doctor para emergencias. Si ocupas

atención médica, llama a la recepción (ext. “0”). Si llamas después de las horas normales de recepción, su

llamada será atendida por las guardas de seguridad.

Para emergencias inmediatas (fuegos, médicas,, quemaduras , heridas o de seguridad), por favor marca “9+911” para ayuda.

Para más información, recurra a las instrucciones que están colocadas detrás de la puerta de su habitación.

Cada habitación está ubicada a la par de un pasillo exterior. En caso de una evacuación de emergencia, por favor sal por el pasillo y sigue las instrucciones de los empleados del hotel .

 

Clock radios

All rooms have clock radios. To activate the alarm, slide the button to the “alarm” position. To change the time of the alarm, press the “alarm”  button + “hour” to change the hour of the alarm or “alarm” + “minutes” to change the minutes of the alarm. If you need assistance with setting your alarm, call the reception (ext. “0”) between the hours of 6:00am and 10:00pm.

In-room safes

All rooms have in-room safes. To operate the safe, enter a 4 digit number, followed by the “#/lock” key. To open the safe, enter the same 4 digit number. Be careful, three failed attempts to open the safe will block all use for 30 minutes.

Luggage assistance

Luggage assistance is available. If between the hours of 6:00am and 10:00pm call the front desk for assistance. If after hours, your call will be answered by security personnel.

Forget something?

Extra toiletries

Extra toiletries (shaving kits, shaving cream, toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, sanitary napkins, sewing kits, bathing caps, etc.) are available at the front desk with out extra charge,  Extra towels, blankets and pillows and face towels are also available at the front desk. The  front desk is staffed between the hours of  6:00am and 10:00pm. If after hours, your call will be answered by security personnel.

Irons and ironing boards

Irons and ironing boards are available at the reception, which is staffed between the hours of 6:00am and 10:00pm. If you need these supplies after 10:00pm, please call extension “0” and our security staff will be happy to assist you.

Newspaper

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this service has been suspended.

Gymnasium

The hotel has a gym for the convenience of our guests. The facility is located on the second floor of the 400 building. The gym  hours are from 6am until 10pm.

 

Despertadores

Todas las habitaciones tienen radio despertadores. Para activar la alarma, deslice el botón hacia el lado derecho, hasta “alarm”. Para cambiar la hora de la alarma, presione “alarma” + “hora o “alarma” + “minutes” para cambiar los minutos. Amenidades del hotel adicionales

Servicios como rasuradoras, crema de afeitar, cepillos de dientes, pasta de dientes, toallas sanitarias, kits de costura, gorras de baño,, peines; están  disponibles en la recepción sin costo alguno. Paños adicionales, almohadas, sábanas y paños faciales también están disponibles en la recepción. La recepción estará abierta desde las 6:00am hasta las 10:00pm. Si necesitas algunos de estos suministros fuera de las horas de recepción, llama a la caseta de seguridad (ext. “0”).

Ofrecemos plancha y aplanchador. Llame a la Ext. “0” (recepción) para solicitarlo de 6:00am a 10:00pm. Si la necesita después de las 10:00pm llame a la Ext. “0”, nuestro personal de seguridad estará encantado de ayudarlo.

El hotel cuenta con gimnasio para la conveniencia de nuestros huespedes. La facilidad esta localizada en el Segundo piso de las habitaciones 400s. El horario de apertura es de 6am hasta las 10 pm.

All rooms and villas have free high speed wireless Internet access The network name and password should be given to you at check-in. If not, please call reception (ext. ‘’0’’) or the bar and restaurant (ext. “409”) for the access codes. If you need assistance with the connection please do not hesitate to call reception (ext 0, 24 HOURS ). The bar and restaurant also offers free internet access.

• Type password you was given at check in time (If you don’t have it press 0 on the room phone and request to the receptionist for it)

 

Adapters

Power outlet adapters are available; please phone Reception by dialling 0 and one will be brought to your room.  A deposit of $25 will be charged to your room, when it is returned this will be removed from your account.

Lobby computer

The electricity supply in the hotel is 110 volts. We count with electrical outlet in the whole room.

 

Acceso gratuito a internet

Todas la habitaciones y villas ofrecen conexión a internet inalámbrico gratis de alta velocidad.  El nombre de la red y la contraseña se le deben haber entregado en recepción al momento de hacer check in al hotel. Si no ha recibido la clave, por favor, llame a recepción (ext. “0”) o al bar y restaurante (ext. “409” ) para que le sean brindados Para más asistencia, por favor, llame a  recepción (ext 0, 24 HORAS). En el bar y restaurante tenemos otra red  gratuita a su disposición.

Instrucciones para conectarse a la red Wi –fi

• Habilitar las conexiones a WiFI en su dispositivo
• Seleccionar la red BEST WESTERN TVV
• Ingresar la contraseña que se le entrego en recepción, si la desconoce , comunicarse a recepción marcando 0 en el teléfono de su habitación para que se la brinde nuevamente.

Adaptadores

En recepción tenemos diferentes tipos de adaptadores en caso de que los necesite, sólo marque “0” en su teléfono para comunicarse con nosotros. Cargaremos en su cuenta un total de $25 como depósito y en cuanto usted lo regrese removeremos ese cargo de su cuenta.
